Start with the end in mind
When I am invited to speak with anyone about their intention to sell a property, I always begin with end in mind. What do I mean by that?
It is my belief that some people do not think the whole process through and make a decision to sell that can on many occasions be a knee-jerk reaction. With this in mind I always look at the big picture and discuss with my client what the end goal is. The reason I do this is that on some occasions selling the property may not always be the appropriate strategy and a solution can be crafted without selling.
You might say to me, “Why do you do this, you will not make a sale and it will cost you money.” All I can say to that is, my advice is always based on what is right for the client not me.
So when we meet, please feel free to share with me your end goal and I will give you a solution that will be the right one for you.
